Principal's Welcome

Welcome to Wiscasset Christian Academy. I am excited that you have found us and are taking time to learn more.

We are a Christian school, a ministry of Bible Baptist Church. We begin each day in prayer. We have daily Bible classes and weekly chapels, often hearing from local pastors and traveling guest speakers. Besides these scheduled events, we strive to integrate the Bible into every class throughout the day.

Our students are taught by teachers who love them and have the time and flexibility to focus on each student. Every teacher follows a curriculum plan that keeps learning organized and intentional, yet has the freedom and flexibility to adjust for classroom needs.

Our small size contributes to our success. Teachers have much more time to spend with each individual student than typically is found in the public school classroom. Small class sizes help students focus with limited distractions. And this year, we hope that our small, self-contained elementary classrooms will reduce the risk of infection by greatly limiting contact with others.  We are doing all that we can to provide in-class instruction as safely as possible.

Our methods and curriculum have been tested and proven. Year after year our students' test scores average much higher than the national and local averages when scored through national achievement tests.

If you are interested in finding out more about Wiscasset Christian Academy, please contact us. We will set up an appointment for you to visit and talk about your child's future at this great school.

God Bless

Our History

Wiscasset Christian Academy was started in 1979 when a need was seen for an education in our community to challenge students both academically and spiritually.
