Senior Class Trip

Help the seniors have a memorable and educational experience!

A new ongoing senior fundraiser is our coffee shop, open Mondays and Fridays.

Come to the kitchen and enjoy a hot cup of coffee, hot chocolate, or cider.

Juice and muffins are also available.

Hot meals are available about every other week. Order slips will come home with your student a few days prior. Contact the office or Alicia West about donating food, paper products, or time.

Seniors also benefit from concessions at games, the vending machine, and from recycling cans and bottles.

General Fund

Box tops are a huge help. They can raise hundreds of dollars per quarter. The most recent check paid for a brand-new white board for the 1st-2nd grade classroom.

Boxtops are getting even more convenient. They have an app where you can scan your receipt and credit your school.

WCA is one of the cheapest private schools around, but cost can still be prohibitive, especially for families with multiple students. We do not have a specific ongoing fundraiser for scholarships at this time, but please consider donating to the scholarship fund. Your gift could greatly impact a student's life.

Special Gifts

From time to time needs arise that are not in the budget.

Our minivan has fought the good fight for many years and has given up the ghost. We are in the process of finding another, which will be expensive. In the meantime, we do have a school bus, but it requires a CDL; if you have one, please consider driving for field trips and games.

As the weather gets colder, PE will have to take place in our gym. We would love to buy an AWANA game kit for $175 which includes a 4-way tug of war rope, bowling pins, bean bags, relay batons, 3-legged race velcro straps, and a book of several hundred indoor games.

Recent donations-- Thank You!

We have installed exterior lights after exceeding our fundraising goal of $2,000!

  • At the end of last year, a donation paid for  brand-new cedar playground equipment

  • 15 dozen fluorescent lights were replaced with long-lasting, energy-efficient LEDs, and the ballasts rewired to accommodate them

  • The outdoor railing, pillars, and cement pad were scraped and painted

  • All the carpet in the entire building was professionally cleaned

  • All the swings were replaced

  • Teachers received an in-depth CPR and first aid training session

  • The 7th-12th students went to The Wilds of New England school camp at no cost to them

  • The 1st-2nd grade classroom received a new white board
